Meet the Team

  • Katie Flagg

    President

    Katie leads day-to-day operations and client strategy at Press Forward, navigating the intersection of storytelling and strategic communications. She came to Press Forward following an award-winning career in newspaper and freelance journalism, climbing the ranks from account manager to senior leadership. She spends her weekends hiking, skiing, and paddling with her partner and three kids.

  • Danny Kuzio

    Senior Account Manager

    A skilled PR and affiliate marketing strategist, Danny leads work for clients in the run, cross country, and outdoor lifestyle segments. Danny’s past work includes a stint as managing editor for Cross Country Skier Magazine, marketing initiatives for Backcountry Magazine and the Alpinist Magazine, and communication and outreach on behalf of 1% for the Planet. A fly fisherman, trail runner and dad, Danny understands the balancing act that outdoor PR demands.

  • Louise Lintilhac

    Senior Account Manager

    Louise came to Press Forward after five years as an editor at Backcountry Magazine. A former Freeski World Tour participant, Louise filmed for four seasons with Meathead Films and spends 80 days/year split evenly between lift-served and backcountry skiing throughout the country. She specializes in account management, athlete and ambassador activation, and storytelling and content.

  • Hayden Carpenter

    Account Manager

    Hayden joined Press Forward after seven years in the magazine industry, first as an editor for Rock and Ice, and then as a freelance outdoor writer and fitness columnist for Outside. An all-around mountain athlete, he now uses his experience to share brands’ stories with core and general audiences alike.

  • North Bennett

    Account Coordinator

    North came to Press Forward after working as a freelance journalist, essayist, and multimedia storyteller. A product of the Pacific Northwest and lover of the Rockies, you’ll often find him seeking out breaks in the clouds on foot, wheel, or ski.

  • Jud Bartlett

    Account Manager / Advisor

    Jud began working with Press Forward after spending 15 years as president of Square Spot Design, a strategic communications and marketing firm in New Hampshire. Jud assists with targeted PR and communications strategy efforts for select Press Forward clients, provides account support and assists with agency operations.

  • Andrew Gardner

    Founder

    Prior to founding Press Forward in 2013, Andrew Gardner was the Head Nordic Ski Coach at Middlebury College, a freelance outdoor writer, and a committed cyclist. Today, Andrew lends occasional strategic insight to Press Forward from his current role as the marketing director of Velocio, a cycling apparel brand he co-founded, which was acquired by SRAM in 2022.
